There are plenty of temporary employment agencies that cater to professionals that are looking for temporary or short-term work. Even if the contract attorney prefers full time permanent work, a temporary agency can help them get their foot in the door and lead to long-term employment. A temp agency can also give the contract attorney experience with different law firms, which may lead the contract attorney to have their pick from several different law firms when looking for full time employment later on. The more experience that contract attorneys have, the more likely they are to be hired by a reputable law firm.
